How much are the sessions?

Our online 1:1 sessions last for 30 minutes and cost £25 plus VAT per session.

Our online group sessions last for 25 minutes and cost £11.67 plus VAT per session (£10 plus VAT for Spanish).

We offer a 10% sibling discount.
What's included in the group sessions?

Weekly 25 minutes online session

Weekly pre-session message and post session feedback for parent and pupil

How is communication organised?

Online sessions take place on Zoom

All other communications happen via Class Dojo, a secure system built specifically for parent-teacher communication (as well as being our rewards system!)
What qualifications do the tutors have?

All tutors are fully qualified primary or secondary teachers and have had the relevant background checks by an approved body (such as Disclosure Scotland).
How is payment organised?

Sessions are paid for by bank transfer, into the My Primary Tutor account. Details will be given when you start working with us. Sessions are paid for a month in advance and details of the cost is sent to you by email invoice.

How will I know about my child's progress?

Each week you will get a parent feedback report which details what your child has been working on and their level of competence. There will be follow up activities to practise these new skills at home.
How long must I sign up for?

There is no set sign up, however, all parents pay 1 month in advance and are required to give a month's notice. Therefore it can be assumed, you will work with us for a minimum of 2 months.
What if we need to miss a session?

If your child cannot attend a session, please let us know.

All sessions are payable, regardless of absence.

We do not routinely offer alternative sessions (and any arrangement will be solely at our discretion.)

If you find for any reason your regular session time is no longer suitable, you should let us know so we can look to change it.
What if I change my mind?

If you decide you no longer wish to work with us, you are required to give 4 weeks notice. This can happen at any time during the year and your final payment will be worked out from when notice is given.
